Answer: There is no catch. If you use a Realtor® to buy a home, the builder or seller pays a commission. For new construction, the commission is already budgeted as a builder's marketing expense, so the home price is not affected whether you have representation or not - with the exception of course, that we are usually able to save you more money than if you went direct to the builder. We sell a lot of new homes giving us the edge when we negotiate with the builder on your behalf. or Resale properties, the seller of the house already has an agreement to pay the seller’s agent a certain commission whether or not the buyer uses their own agent. The seller’s agent then splits his/hers commission with Buyer’s agent. Therefore, it is to your benefit to use a New Homes Market Center Realtor®.

Do builders have to pay you a fee to be listed in your electronic database?
Answer: No. New Homes Market Center keeps a database of builders, their communities, and floor plans in the area. This enables us to always give you a complete and objective look at the new home options available in their specific price range.
